Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Grant Coordinator
Duration: 6+ Months contract (possibility to be extended- Temp Hire)
Location: 5636 E McDowell Road Phoenix AZ 85008— 100% Onsite
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $ 27.13/hr (W2) Max
Required Skills:
- 1 year of grants experience, medical billing, or accounting
- Microsoft and Google Suite experience
- 5 years of work experience required
Preferred Skills: ADOBE experience
Job description:
- This Grant Development Coordinator will be responsible for providing mid-level comprehensive development and management oversight of grant applications and awards.
- In this role, you will assist in the development and management of mitigation projects under State and Federal Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) programs.
- You will be assisting Emergency Management staff and applicants in developing Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) projects during federally declared events, including Fire Management Assistance Grants (FMAG).
- Personally, prepares for any time (24/7) response and no-notice recall to the State or Alternate Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) and / or Joint Field Office (JFO) during disaster or exercise activations. Trains for specific SEOC positions and performs duties as
Responsibilities:
Provide mid-level development and management oversight of grant applications and awards.
Assist in the development and management of mitigation projects under State and Federal Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) programs.
Support Emergency Management staff and applicants in developing Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) projects during federally declared events.
Assist with Fire Management Assistance Grants (FMAG) related activities and documentation.
Licenses / Certifications:
- This position requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment.
- In and out of State travel may be required. Selected incumbent is required to pass a criminal background investigation and have identification enabling them to enter federal facilities.
