Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a dynamic school environment near Gilbertsville, PA. Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide vital services and evaluations for the upcoming school year, with a collaborative team and ongoing support.
This position offers flexibility—full-time (40 hrs/week) or part-time schedules are available, with daily start and end times tailored to elementary, middle, or high school levels. The contract runs from August 17th through June 11th, making it an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP licensure or eligibility (CCC and CFY considered)
- Experience working in school settings, especially PreK-4th and autism support classrooms, is highly valued
- Proficiency with AAC devices, particularly Proloquo, is a plus
- Capability to assist with both evaluations and direct student services
- Familiarity with IEP writer platforms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to maintaining caseloads within the state-mandated cap of 65
- Willingness to participate in weekly team meetings for support and planning
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and evaluation services to a diverse caseload
- Document progress using the school’s IEP writer system
- Collaborate with special education and classroom teachers to support student achievement
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and educational staff
- Contribute expertise and insights to innovative autism support and AAC initiatives
