Our organization is in search of a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist with expertise in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Position Overview:
  • The selected candidate will become part of a collaborative team consisting of six general, hospital-based Pathologists and two Pathology Assistants, managing two community hospitals along with several critical access facilities.
  • The workload includes a variety of cases such as biopsies, complex resections, and non-GYN cytology, with no GYN cytology performed.
  • Responsibilities will include providing frozen section coverage and attending fine needle aspirations to assess adequacy.
  • Autopsies are infrequently conducted.
  • While specific subspecialty training is not mandatory, experience in cytopathology or gastrointestinal pathology would be advantageous.
Qualifications:
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, valuing positive relationships with clinical colleagues.
  • A willingness to engage in clinical lab management and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards is essential.
