Civil Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and building condition assessments

• Diagnose building issues and develop repair and remediation solutions

• Prepare drawings, specifications, and technical repair documents

• Support and manage repair and rehabilitation projects through construction

• Communicate findings clearly with clients, property managers, and stakeholders

• Prepare proposals and contribute to project planning and execution

• Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple active projects

• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development

• Participate in site visits and explain technical issues in simple, client-friendly terms

Key Requirements

• Licensed Engineer (E.I.T. or P.E.) with 3+ years of experience

• Experience in commercial building design, evaluation, and restoration

• Strong knowledge of building envelopes, waterproofing systems, roofs, parking structures, and related components

• Ability to perform structural and building system investigations, analysis, and diagnostics

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to prepare reports, bids, proposals, and technical documentation

• Strong attention to detail
