Key Qualifications:

  • California certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Solid understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development and compliance protocols
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations to determine students’ educational needs
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, presenting assessment data and collaborating on goals
  • Provide direct and indirect counseling and crisis intervention services to students
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective behavior management strategies and interventions
  • Support positive school climates through staff inservice training and advocacy for students
  • Maintain timely assessment records and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Serve as a resource on issues related to mental health, learning, and developmental challenges
