Special Education Teacher in Salem, NH

You’ll work full-time, Monday through Friday, from August 2026 to June 2027, with hours from 7:10 AM to 2:30 PM and students on campus from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM. Enjoy a predictable workweek consisting of 32 to 37.5 hours, following an engaging A/B day block schedule with four 90-minute blocks per day and a daily prep period.

Desired background and qualifications:

• Valid certification and proven experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Familiarity with high school caseloads and grades 9-12
• Strong skills in developing and managing IEPs
• Proficient in academic evaluations, data collection, and progress monitoring for student success
• Excellent communication abilities when working with students’ families, fellow educators, and support staff
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Preferred experience in behavior management and transition planning
