Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Teacher License with Special Education Generalist endorsement (Ages 5-21) required
- Previous experience working with students with affective needs highly valued
- Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing processes efficiently
- Commitment to on-site presence and collaboration within an elementary school community
- Strong communication, classroom management, and individualized instruction skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with affective needs, ensuring accommodations and modifications are implemented
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet IEP goals and address diverse learning profiles
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers for comprehensive student support
- Maintain detailed records, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Foster a safe, inclusive classroom setting that encourages student growth and positive behavior
This full-time contract offers 37.5 hours per week through October 2nd, allowing you to focus on building lasting impact in one supportive school community. You’ll work closely with a passionate team dedicated to every student's success.
