Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Evening Shift)
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Candidates must be flexible to work an 8-hour shift within scheduled business hours. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced pharmacy team. In this role, you will support the preparation and fulfillment of prescription orders by accurately retrieving medications, packaging prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring workstations remain fully stocked. This position plays a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and timely medications to patients.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with multiple computer systems while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve medications from inventory and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification
- Count, package, and label prescription medications accurately
- Process and fill prescription orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and automated dispensing units
- Replenish workstation supplies, including vials, caps, labels, and packaging materials
- Remove expired or outdated medications from inventory following established procedures
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pre-packaged auxiliary items
- Occasionally contact patients regarding customer service inquiries or shipment status
- Utilize multiple pharmacy systems to document and process prescription information
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and applicable state and federal regulations
Qualifications
Required:
- Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician Registration/License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Previous pharmacy technician experience
- Experience in mail-order, retail, specialty, or fulfillment pharmacy settings
- Inventory management and prescription fulfillment experience
