Per Diem Pharmacist - Bronx, New York

Provide essential retail pharmacist coverage in Bronx, New York from August 3rd through August 20th in a per diem capacity. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care by ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Counsel and advise patients regarding their medication therapies and usage regimens.
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain proper stock levels and manage controlled drug records and inventories.
• Address and resolve patient problems, including clarifying issues related to third-party insurance coverage.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail pharmacy practice.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to counsel patients effectively.
• Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a dynamic environment.
