Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid Special Education Educator Certificate
- Previous experience in an elementary school setting highly desired
- Comfortable working across varying caseloads (resource, self-contained, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and tailor instruction for individualized student needs
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Instruct and support students in both resource and self-contained classrooms
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
- Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records
- Employ a variety of instructional strategies to ensure every student’s success
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and school-wide initiatives
