Child Psychiatrist - Per Diem

Job Opportunity: Child Psychiatrist

Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our dedicated team at the Behavioral Medicine Center. This role requires onsite weekend inpatient rounds within child behavioral health units, along with providing concurrent call coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient rounds and address acute psychiatric concerns, either independently or in collaboration with residents and/or nurse practitioners.
• Respond to calls and assist psychiatric residents in managing cases.
• Offer supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
• Engage in duties that may involve working independently, collaborating with Nurse Practitioners, and participating in a training environment with residents and/or students when available.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour, with adjustments based on years of experience and/or faculty rank. Additionally, we provide a generous retirement contribution.
