Our organization in Phoenix, Arizona, is inviting applications for Fellows for the academic year 2026-2027 across the following Fellowship Programs:

Applicants must have completed or be currently enrolled in an Orthopedic Surgery Residency in the United States or Canada.
Fellowship ProgramsHip and Knee Reconstruction FellowshipProgram Director: Steven Myerthall, MD
Faculty: Amalia de Comas, MD; Mark Campbell, MD; Justin Butler, DO
This 12-month fellowship offers a unique and intensive curriculum focused on adult reconstruction. Fellows will receive extensive training under the mentorship of seasoned Adult Reconstruction surgeons, all of whom have completed their own fellowships. Participants will engage in dedicated rotations and, based on past experiences, will actively take part in over 500 routine and complex adult reconstruction surgeries. The program also includes comprehensive training in robotic surgery. The Adult Reconstructive Service is recognized for managing one of the highest volumes of complex revision cases nationally, providing fellows with significant exposure to tumor reconstruction due to the diverse expertise of the faculty. This program is known for its high-volume joint reconstruction service and a strong commitment to clinical and educational excellence.
Interventional Spine/Pain Medicine FellowshipProgram Director: Anuj Daftari, MD
Faculty: Eric Feldman, MD; Kurt (Adam) Lundberg, DO
This 12-month clinical fellowship emphasizes non-operative spine care and interventional pain management. Fellows will work alongside physicians who have completed fellowships and are part of a large, dynamic multidisciplinary group in Phoenix, Arizona. Key skills developed include proficiency in various interventional spine procedures such as lumbar, thoracic, and cervical epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency neurotomy, sympathetic blocks, peripheral joint and nerve injections, spinal cord stimulator trials, dorsal root ganglion stimulator trials, spinal cord stimulator implants, disc stimulation procedures, and kyphoplasty.
The fellowship also provides extensive training in medication management, fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided injections, and electrodiagnostic techniques. Additionally, fellows will have the chance to pursue elective rotations in orthopedic spine surgery and neuroradiology, along with numerous research opportunities. Successful completion of the fellowship qualifies fellows to pursue board certification through the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Spine FellowshipProgram Directors: Ali Araghi, DO; Norman Chutkan, MD

The Spine Fellowship is a one-year post-residency program focused on the management of spinal disorders. The Spine Division consists of skilled leaders in all aspects of spine surgical treatment, supported by a team of pain management and rehabilitation specialists who provide non-operative care. Management of spinal disorders includes both non-surgical and surgical evaluations, as well as preoperative assessments and appropriate patient selection. Surgical training encompasses advanced minimally invasive and open techniques for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, utilizing anterior, lateral, and posterior approaches. The experience includes dealing with degenerative conditions, tumors, fractures, and adult deformities. Fellows will actively participate in monthly spine conferences and journal clubs, gaining access to a biomechanical research laboratory, motion analysis laboratory, and a clinical research infrastructure supported by a dedicated team of regulatory, contract, grant, and research coordinators.
