Join Our Team as a Cardiologist at the VA Medical Center in Sioux Falls!

Position: Full-Time Non-Invasive and Non-Interventional Cardiologist

Are you a committed cardiologist eager to make a positive difference in the lives of our veterans? Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time non-invasive and non-interventional cardiologist to enhance our distinguished medical team. In this position, you will provide consultative services and create treatment plans for veterans in various care environments, including outpatient, inpatient, Community Living Center, and emergency departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and interpret transesophageal echocardiograms.

  • Analyze ECGs, Holter and event monitor recordings, as well as transthoracic echocardiograms.

  • Perform and interpret treadmill, pharmacologic, nuclear, and echocardiographic stress tests.

  • Be available for urgent evaluations and consultations as part of the patient care team.

  • Execute Cardioversion procedures.

  • Review pacemaker/AICD transmissions and make necessary adjustments.

  • Coordinate care with VA and non-VA referral centers for patients needing advanced cardiac services unavailable at our facility.

  • Leverage telemedicine technologies to enhance patient care.

Work Schedule & Benefits:

  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

  • NO CALL / NO WEEKENDS

  • Salary: $350,000 - $400,000
