Make a meaningful impact in the school setting, supporting K-8 students' academic and emotional growth through expert psychological services. This is an on-site, contract opportunity for a dedicated professional ready to collaborate across two school locations, working 37.5 hours per week and managing a caseload of 60 students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology required
  • Valid and active PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement (Illinois)
  • At least two years of school-based experience supporting diverse student populations
  • Demonstrated commitment to core educational values, child-centered advocacy, and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

  • Promote students’ ability to access learning through prevention, assessment, early identification, and intervention for academic and social-emotional challenges
  • Serve as a consultant and leader, guiding MTSS practices, Tier 3 interventions, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with special education, 504, and MTSS teams to ensure proper screening, identification, and evaluation of students’ needs, maintaining high compliance standards
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports, and participate in problem-solving, 504, and IEP meetings
  • Request and coordinate information from outside agencies as needed with proper release
  • Keep accurate documentation of services, collaboration, and data for compliance and continual improvement
  • Share expertise in child development and evaluation, serving as a resource and liaison for staff and parents
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with all federal, state, and organizational policies
