Step into a dynamic contract opportunity making a direct impact in K-8 educational environments near Chicago, IL. As a dedicated school psychologist, you'll collaborate closely with students, families, and school teams to support academic, emotional, and social growth for scholars across two school sites. This in-person position will see you manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, ensuring compliance, successful interventions, and continual communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Minimum of 2 years of school-based experience as a school psychologist
  • Established record of upholding core values in educational settings
  • Strong commitment to ensuring every child's success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, identify, and support students’ academic and social-emotional needs, using evidence-based interventions and MTSS frameworks
  • Actively participate in SPED, 504, MTSS, and other collaborative team meetings to evaluate and implement individualized student plans
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of services, progress, and compliance data in line with local and federal guidelines
  • Prepare and present evaluation reports, contribute to IEP/504 processes, and provide expert guidance for interventions and eligibility decisions
  • Partner with families, school personnel, and outside agencies to support student development, readiness, and well-being
  • Stay current on best practices and research, disseminating essential knowledge to the psychology team and broader school community
