Qualifications:
- Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Valid Minnesota school psychologist license issued by PELSB
- Dedication to equity, culturally responsive, and inclusive service delivery
- Strong expertise in assessment, intervention, and mental health support within school settings
Preferred Experience:
- National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility
- History of delivering consultation, problem-solving, and intervention supports within an MTSS framework
- Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and adult learner coaching skills
- In-depth understanding of crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state special education law and compliance
- Prior service in urban or multicultural educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive developmental, behavioral, and psychological assessments for K-12 students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic, behavioral, and emotional success
- Provide consultation and intervention within an MTSS model
- Deliver culturally responsive mental health and crisis supports as needed
- Ensure compliance in documentation and adherence to special education laws
