Job Description
Exciting contract opportunity available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide psychological services within a supportive school environment near Burnsville, MN. This position will run from late August through the start of winter break and is designed to cover two upcoming maternity leaves. The assignment offers a full-time, onsite schedule with a collaborative team.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Minnesota School Psychologist certification/licensure is required.
- Demonstrated experience in developing IEP goals and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) utilizing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA).
- Solid understanding of and ability to interpret state and federal statutes, codes, rules, and regulations related to school psychology services.
- Commitment to working collaboratively with educators, families, and administrators to support student achievement and well-being.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of psychological services including evaluations, consultations, and direct interventions for students.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of individualized IEP goals and PBSPs.
- Conduct and interpret FBAs in support of positive behavioral outcomes.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary staff, families, and administrators to promote compliance and best practices for supporting students.
- Ensure all work aligns with federal and state educational standards.
- Engage proactively within the school community to foster a safe and positive learning environment.
