Occupational Therapist School Setting - West Chester, PA

Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract occupational therapist serving schools in the West Chester, PA area. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to support children’s development and wellbeing through impactful therapy services in both early intervention and school-based settings.

You will have the flexibility to work between 3 and 5 days per week, designing meaningful interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs. Roles are available for both full-time early intervention and part-time school-age emotional support, all within supportive educational environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Pennsylvania OT license and related clearances
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school settings
• Strong knowledge of early intervention and/or emotional support needs in children
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Self-motivated, organized, and compassionate approach to therapy

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to children in early intervention (community settings, 5 days/week) and/or school-age emotional support (3 days/week at the education center)
• Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapy providers to maximize student success
• Adapt therapy techniques to address student-specific goals and environments
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of collaborative intervention strategies
