Gynecologist - Midlife Women's Health & Menopause
Job Description
Our organization is in search of a board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologist to become part of a well-established, physician-led Women's Health practice located on the North Shore of Massachusetts. This is a remarkable chance to join a thriving community-based practice that has been serving patients for over 20 years, with a key focus on enhancing a growing Midlife Women's Health and Menopause Program.
The practice is supported by an experienced Gynecologist, a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, and a dedicated support team. Physicians will enjoy strong integration with primary care referrals, a stable patient population, and the opportunity to develop a specialized clinical focus within gynecology. This position is strictly gynecology-focused, with no obstetrics, hospital calls, or inpatient duties.
Clinical Focus & Practice ModelThis role is tailored for a physician eager to engage in comprehensive gynecological care, with a particular emphasis on:
- Perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopausal health
- Management strategies, both hormonal and non-hormonal
- Uterine health issues, including abnormal bleeding and fibroids
- Endometriosis and complex pelvic pain
- Preventive and ongoing women's health services
The practice is actively developing a premier Midlife Women's Health & Menopause Program, offering opportunities for leadership, program innovation, and clinical advancement.
Surgical & Procedural PracticePhysicians will have access to surgical services through affiliated community hospitals, featuring experienced operating room teams and robotic surgery capabilities. The procedural scope includes:
- Office-based gynecological procedures (IUD insertions, Nexplanon, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies, and others as appropriate)
- Gynecological surgical procedures, including hysterectomies and other advanced techniques as needed
Join an established Women's Health program that has been serving the North Shore for over two decades. The practice environment is characterized by:
- A collaborative, multispecialty setting that includes Primary Care and Urogynecology
- A robust internal referral network within a growing independent health system

The position offers a Monday to Friday outpatient schedule, with:
- No obstetrics involved
- No hospital calls or inpatient responsibilities
- An employed physician model featuring competitive compensation
- A bonus structure based on productivity and quality metrics
- Occurrence-based malpractice coverage
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecology (or OB/GYN)
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Massachusetts
- Strong background in clinical and surgical gynecology
- Preferred interest or experience in menopause medicine
- Preferred certification through The Menopause Society (or willingness to obtain)
- Interest in uterine health, abnormal bleeding, and complex gynecological care
- Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
