Salary Range:
The compensation for this role falls between $280,000 and $408,000. The established salary scales by the university determine the minimum pay based on rank and/or step at the time of appointment. This position is part of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which allows for potential additional earnings.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking applications for a faculty role in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track) at the Assistant Professor level or higher, depending on qualifications. This position is situated within the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology, focusing on delivering outstanding clinical and surgical services to a varied patient demographic. The division encompasses a comprehensive range of Women's Reproductive Health Care, including low-risk obstetrics, outpatient gynecology, and benign gynecologic surgeries, while also overseeing residents and medical students at the only academic medical institution in Orange County, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of obstetrical and gynecological care within the faculty practice at UCI, including inpatient gynecological care.
- Supervise resident continuity clinics at UCI's Federally Qualified Health Centers.
- Mentor and instruct trainees at various levels.
- Engage in scholarly activities and maintain a private patient practice.
- Educate medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent degree, hold a California medical license and Drug Enforcement Agency certificate by the start date, and be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Strong clinical skills, medical knowledge, a commitment to teaching, and a record of scholarly achievements are essential. A keen interest in serving diverse community populations is also required.
