Discover a Day in the Life of a Med Surg RNResponsibilities
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in line with HHS standards to ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality patient care.
  • Must exhibit the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for patients in the assigned unit.
  • Should demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, with the ability to assess data reflecting the patient’s condition and interpret the necessary information to identify each patient’s age-specific needs.
  • Plan for patient care provision, including the development, modification, and execution of care plans in accordance with HHS standards to ensure efficient, effective, and quality patient care as outlined in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
  • Expected to comply with the regulations established by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in nursing

  • Current RN Licensure in Oklahoma

  • BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hire or transfer into the position and prior to delivering direct patient care.
