Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for K–8
- Previous experience working with students with varying exceptionalities
- Ability to implement IEPs and deliver differentiated instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, individualized lessons for students with special needs
- Support both instructional and resource settings, as assigned
- Work closely with other educators and support staff to facilitate student success
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning styles
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation, including IEP goals and student progress reports
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
