School-Based Physical Therapist - Irving, Texas

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Texas
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt to various student needs
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Organized and detail-oriented with proficient documentation practices
• Willingness to work with students across the K-12 range

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Evaluating students’ gross motor and functional mobility skills
• Developing and implementing tailored intervention strategies
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to support each student’s educational goals
• Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
• Facilitating IEP meetings and participating in case conferences as needed
• Engaging families and caregivers in the therapy process
• Providing training and resources to staff to promote physical access and participation
