Bring your expertise in special education and behavior analysis to a rewarding full-time contract role supporting students across a 35-mile radius within the Medford, Oregon area, including Ashland and up to Eagle Point/Grants Pass. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals eager to make a tangible impact in K-12 school environments as Autism Specialists—Master’s-level Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, or Speech-Language Pathologists with TSPC licensure (or Board Certification for SLPs), or highly skilled BCBAs with targeted autism training.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with students on the Autism spectrum across multiple age and grade levels
  • Demonstrated skill supporting students spanning the full continuum of need, including both high-functioning students in general education settings and those with more severe challenges in self-contained environments
  • Experience conducting Autism evaluations and assessments
  • Valid Oregon licensure and relevant certification
  • For BCBA applicants: In-depth Autism expertise and at least 3 years of related experience, with familiarity in public education and special education settings

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consultative and direct support to K-12 students with Autism, collaborating closely with school staff and families
  • Conduct assessments and assist in developing and monitoring individualized education and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide expertise and training to school teams regarding evidence-based practices for supporting students with Autism
  • Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in special education and autism intervention
