Job Overview

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing and evaluating patients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific conditions. Qualifications

• Patient Age Range: All age groups.
• Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree is essential, with a preference for coursework in Physical Therapy.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of Physical Therapy theories, methodologies, practices, and equipment.
• Excellent communication abilities, with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
• Comprehensive knowledge of potential hazards, necessary precautions, and remedial actions in patient treatment and care.
• Capability to evaluate and implement treatment programs for both simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Licensure and Certifications

• Must hold a current Physical Therapy license in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in rehabilitation services within a hospital setting is advantageous.
• Higher education such as a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Required Experience

• Less than one year of clinical experience in relevant areas such as acute care or outpatient settings is necessary.
