Make a meaningful impact helping students succeed by providing essential behavioral support in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to cover a maternity leave across three closely situated sites serving secondary-aged students in the Windsor, CT area and surrounding communities. The assignment runs from September 1 through January 5, offering a flexible, part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.

What you’ll bring:

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Previous experience supporting middle and high school-aged students in educational settings (preferred)
  • Strong skills in behavior assessment, intervention planning, and program monitoring
  • Excellent collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability to work seamlessly across multiple nearby school sites

In this role, you will:

  • Provide behavioral support for caseloads at three sites: approximately 15 students in middle school, 22 in high school, and 6 at an offsite campus
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and design data-driven intervention plans
  • Train and support school staff in implementing behavior strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Document services provided and maintain required records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with both school staff and families to ensure student success
