Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere for students
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students with communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning goals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports
- Communicate with caregivers to update them on student progress and strategies for home support
