VIP is Immediately hiring 2nd Shift Machine Operators for a local company in Albuquerque

This is a Full Time Temp to hire Position

Schedule is Monday-Friday 2pm - 10pm

Pay for this position is $17.00 per hour

As a Machine Operator you will:

Remain at your assigned machine at all times to:
- Run Product
- Assist with Zipper/ Roll Changes
- Assist with machine changeover
- Pull, inspect and retain a sample (making sure to write all measurements, date, time and initials on sample) for each completed box.
You may sometimes leave your area to retrieve necessary supplies to operate the machine
Produce quality product by verifying information on job jacket before running product
Measure and inspect products continually during the run to keep product within specifications
Complete production paperwork to maintain traceability of product
Properly bundle good product together and box neatly always aware of proper count.
Make minor adjustments on machine while running to ensure quality is within specifications
Maintain a clean and neat work area
Ensure finished goods are stacked and stored to correct area
Changing rolls of material using the material handling equipment provided

Machine Operator Candidates Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

High School Diploma or GED
6 months of relatable work experience
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to lift 25 lbs on your own
Ability to measure accurately using a ruler
Basic Math Skills including fractions and tape measurement reading down to the 1/16th of an inch
