Available Shifts: Days and Nights

Compensation: Gross pay ranging from $1,491 to $2,067 per week, translating to an hourly rate of $41.44 to $57.43.

Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee ICU operations and nursing personnel during assigned shifts.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments effectively.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the performance and growth of staff.
  • Assist with performance management and HR-related tasks.
  • Monitor supplies, equipment, and overall unit readiness.
  • Coordinate patient care, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the proper channels.
  • Engage with patients and families to foster a positive experience.
  • Provide direct patient care as necessary to ensure safe staffing and quality outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
  • Education: Current and valid RN license in the state.
  • Certifications: Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications upon hire, with maintenance required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or emergency department setting.
  • Supervisory Experience: One to two years in a supervisory role within an acute care hospital or ICU setting is required.
Compensation Transparency

Our organization offers competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range of $41.44 to $57.43 for this role. This estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for other locations. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
