Position: Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Department: Med Surg
Available Shifts: Days and Nights
Compensation: Up to $1,451 – $1,982 gross pay per week, which translates to $40.32 – $55.06 per hour.
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

- Assist the Director in managing daily department operations, staffing, and workflow.
- Supervise, guide, and assess team members.
- Ensure optimal utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintain high standards of department operations and patient care.
- Provide direct patient care as required within your scope of practice.
- Monitor patient care plans and implement necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to enhance patient outcomes.
- Foster a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
- Oversee staff performance and unit operations during your assigned shift.
- Current and valid RN license in the state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain
- Minimum of one year of charge nurse experience in a Med Surg setting is required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain
