Geriatrics Physician Opportunity in San Francisco - Telehealth Offered

Join a mission-driven team providing comprehensive primary care to one of San Francisco's most vulnerable senior populations. This 100% outpatient opportunity offers the chance to build meaningful relationships with a small patient panel while caring for adults aged 60+ facing complex medical, behavioral health, and social challenges.

Work with a highly underserved population, including individuals who have experienced homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorders. Ideal for physicians passionate about community health, health equity, and whole-person care.

Exceptional Work-Life Balance

• Monday-Friday schedule
• 4 days onsite/field-based, 1 dedicated telehealth day from home
• Average of just 3 patient visits per day
• 30-60 minute appointment times
• Patient panel capped at approximately 100
• Dedicated 90-minute daily administrative block
• Typical day concludes by 4:30 PM

Supportive Practice Environment

• Gradual ramp-up starting with 1 patient per day
• Epic EMR
• Paid Lyft transportation for all field and home visits
• Onsite Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish interpreters
• Collaborative, team-based care model

Call Responsibilities

• Approximately 2 weekday call nights per month (phone call only)
• Answering service triages all calls
• Average of 1-2 calls per night
• Saturday clinic once every other month

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• California medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Open to experienced physicians and graduating residents
