AP/Payroll Associate
Honolulu, HI | Full-Time | Direct Hire Opportunity
Bishop & Company is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support a growing organization. This role will work closely with senior finance leadership and is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Process invoices, track payments, and resolve billing discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoicing and payment inquiries
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and financial records
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger
• Process employee payroll and review timesheets
• Receive and post payments (check, credit card, EFT)
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements
• Ensure accurate and organized financial documentation
• Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in A/P, A/R, and/or payroll processing
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and/or other ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with payroll systems and processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Some college coursework in Accounting or related field preferred

---

Work Schedule

• Full-time, standard business hours
• Occasional evening or weekend work as needed

• Pay: $25-30/hr DOE
