Position specifics:
Location: Cleveland Melt Shop- 5k Sign on Bonus!
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (5-2-2-5 rotating shift)

What You’ll Do:

\n

As an Industrial Electrician, you’ll ensure the reliability and safety of our operations by maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial electrical systems. You’ll support preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, and contribute to a team-oriented, safety-focused environment.

    Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and components

  • \n
  • \n

    Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and installations

  • \n
  • \n

    Read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and electrical codes

  • \n
  • \n

    Support mechanical team members and collaborate cross-functionally

  • \n
  • \n

    Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead cranes as needed

  • \n
  • \n

    Use digital tools and systems to complete work orders and maintain records

  • \n
  • \n

    Support environmental, safety, and quality procedures

  • \n
\n

\n

What You’ll Need:

\n
    \n
  • \n

    High school diploma or GED (free GED program available)

  • \n
  • \n

    3+ years of experience in industrial electrician maintenance

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong understanding of AC/DC theory, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and hydraulics/pneumatics

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience with schematics, test instruments, and industrial safety protocols

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to work in environments with dirt, grease, heat, cold, and at heights

  • \n
\n

Nice to Haves:

    \n
  • \n

    Journeyman Certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience

  • \n
  • \n

    Background in steel industry maintenance

  • \n
  • \n

    Welding and light fabrication experience

  • \n
  • \n

    Familiarity with Profibus, Profinet, or Ethernet-based industrial networks

  • \n
  • \n

    Knowledge of PID control loops and combustion systems

  • \n
