Our organization is on the lookout for a Family Medicine Physician to join our physician-led medical group and provide care at the Aurora Health Center - Franklin West, located in Franklin, WI.

Position Highlights
  • Location: Franklin West - Internal Medicine
  • Reason for Opening: Resignation
  • Patient Panel: A combination of inherited patients and new ones
  • Team Composition: 3 Family Physicians in Suite 116 and 3 Internal Medicine Physicians in Suite 101
  • Operating Hours:
    • Monday: 6:45 AM - 6:00 PM
    • Tuesday - Friday: 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Extended Hours Requirement: Physicians are expected to complete 100 hours of extended hours annually, which can be scheduled before 8 AM, after 5 PM, or during the lunch hour from 12 PM to 1 PM.
  • Call Management: Handled by a nurse triage line, resolving 85% of calls without needing the on-call physician.

On-Site Equipment

The facility is equipped with a lab and x-ray services within the building. Suite 101 features Clinteck and A1C machines, with labs sent out daily for blood draws, cultures, and swabs.

Office and Support Structure
  • Each physician has a private office and access to three exam rooms.
  • Physicians are also able to perform procedures.
  • Support includes a dedicated Medical Assistant for each physician and three shared Registered Nurses covering seven physicians for triage, Medicare wellness, anticoagulation, emergency response, and education.
Patient Demographics

Our patient base ranges from newborns to end-of-life care, encompassing all ethnicities and accepting various insurance types, including Commercial, Government, and Medicaid.

Team Dynamics

The team fosters a collaborative environment, encouraging open discussions about coverage and any issues that arise. There is an open-door policy, and team members often socialize both at work and outside of it.
