\nUPMC Somerset is currently seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our UPMC Hillman Cancer Team! We are seeking physicians with excellent clinical skills, interested in delivering high quality care and participating in numerous clinical trials available throughout the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network. Successful candidates should have or be able to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license and be board certified/board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Salary and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
\nThe candidate will join a recently renovated facility on the UPMC Somerset hospital campus, offering the latest medical oncology treatments and clinical trials. Physicians in the practice are well supported as part of an integrated, physician-led network of clinicians. Work with an experienced team of medical oncologists/hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, lab, pharmacy and support staff. Enjoy unprecedented growth in a practice that includes outpatient and inpatient medical consults, chemotherapy, lab and supportive therapy visits. Care is provided in the clinic and hospital Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. On-call coverage is shared between physician colleagues.

\nAbout UPMC Somerset
\nSomerset Hospital is a 118 licensed-bed hospital which cares for about 3,900 inpatients, more than 140,000 outpatients, and nearly 18,000 emergency cases annually. The hospital presently has a complement of medical/surgical beds, pediatric beds, obstetric/gynecology beds, nursery cribs, an intensive coronary care unit, skilled nursing beds, and an adult, adolescent and child neuropsychiatric service with an 18-bed hospital-based unit.
\nOther services currently include medical oncology, a sleep lab, a dialysis center, a cardiac catheterization laboratory, a pain management program, occupational health, and community education. Round the clock emergency care is provided by the hospital. Ancillary services include radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary services, orthopedics, inpatient/outpatient drug and alcohol services and hospice.
