Quality Control Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX 78223
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour, based on experience

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM 12:00 AM

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM

Schedule: Candidates must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends, based on production needs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to help ensure our products meet the highest food safety and quality standards. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, monitoring GMP compliance, collecting samples, documenting findings, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections throughout the production process.

• Monitor compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and sanitation requirements.

• Collect product and environmental samples for testing.

• Complete quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.

• Identify and report quality or food safety concerns and assist with corrective actions.

• Support food safety audits, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Communicate quality issues effectively and assist with employee training as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in food manufacturing, food service, quality assurance, sanitation, or a related field preferred.

• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety programs, or regulatory compliance is a plus.

• 25 years of relevant experience preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based in a refrigerated food manufacturing facility. Candidates must be comfortable working in cold temperatures throughout their shift and should dress warmly.
