Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Arcata, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OR nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Provide perioperative nursing care as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures
* Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment
* Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals
* Monitor patients throughout the surgical process and respond to changes in condition
* Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
* Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures
Requirements:
* Active California RN license
* Minimum of two years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
* BLS certification required
* Experience with a variety of surgical specialties preferred
* Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
