Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Washington State
  • Pediatric and/or school-based occupational therapy experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, goal writing, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and deliver both direct and consultative OT services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for support within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct interventions and consultative services to students in collaboration with teachers and support staff
  • Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations, contributing OT expertise to inform educational programming
  • Offer guidance and training to school staff on classroom accommodations and strategies to foster student independence
