Qualifications & Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license valid for practice in Georgia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in a school-based setting, particularly at the middle school level
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for middle school students
  • Design and deliver individualized therapy and interventions to address students’ needs
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
