Qualifications & Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license valid for practice in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school-based setting, particularly at the middle school level
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for middle school students
- Design and deliver individualized therapy and interventions to address students’ needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and progress notes
