This full-time role is based at a junior high setting, tailored toward general education instruction. Responsibilities in this position encompass delivering a well-rounded general education curriculum to middle school students, developing engaging lesson plans, and maintaining a supportive classroom environment. You'll collaborate with other faculty and staff to foster students' academic growth and positive social interactions.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois teaching license and required certification
- CTE (Career and Technical Education) endorsement
- Demonstrated school-based teaching experience
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a junior high environment
- Willing to participate in a timely 30-minute interview process
Primary Duties:
- Develop and deliver instructional lessons for a general education caseload
- Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and planning sessions
