Role Highlights:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-4 students, helping identify their individual needs and supports.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective education and behavioral intervention plans.
  • Provide occasional counseling to students, helping them build emotional resilience and social skills as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school and district policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing your expertise to multidisciplinary discussions regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Consult with staff on classroom management strategies, behavioral supports, and emerging student needs.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, ethics, and advocacy for students.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Possession of appropriate state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Prior experience working at the elementary school level is preferred, especially with K-4 students.
  • Solid knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
