Begin your next adventure supporting students across K-12 settings as a contract school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Two opportunities are available, serving either a single site or as an itinerant psychologist across multiple schools. This role focuses on collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology for K-12.
  • Earned a Master's degree in School Psychology.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working within school-based teams and with diverse student populations is beneficial.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement effective interventions.
  • Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiatives.
  • Provide direct services to students, including counseling and behavioral interventions.
  • Travel between schools within the district may be necessary for the itinerant position.
  • Contribute actively to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation.
  • Advocate for inclusive practices and student-centered approaches.

Position Details:

  • Full-time contract: 37.5 hours per week.
  • School year assignment: August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
  • Assignments available as a single school site or covering multiple schools as an itinerant psychologist.
  • Primarily on-site; remote or hybrid work is not anticipated for these positions.
