About Our Organization

We are part of a larger health system that serves the West Region of a major nonprofit healthcare organization in the United States. With ten hospitals and numerous health service organizations, we provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare across urban, suburban, and rural areas, covering 65 specialty services in 67 counties across Missouri and Kansas. Our facility is recognized nationally for excellence in healthcare and is committed to advancing medical research and education.

About the Cancer Institute

The Cancer Institute, a division of our hospital, specializes in early detection, expert diagnosis, personalized treatment options, and survivorship support for every patient. Our team includes medical oncologists, hematologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, and radiation oncologists, each specializing in various cancer types, including breast, lung, gastrointestinal, liver, brain, gynecologic, melanoma, and urologic cancers.

We lead in innovation by offering the region's only precision oncology program for advanced cancers, staffed by clinical oncologists skilled in genomic sequencing and computational biology. Patients have access to over 200 clinical trials, and we were the first to introduce 3D mammography in the area, boasting the largest network of such centers. Our facility is also home to the first center in the U.S. dedicated solely to the comprehensive care of Stage 4 breast cancer.

At our Cancer Institute, patients benefit from multidisciplinary clinics, allowing them to consult with a team of specialists in a single, comprehensive appointment. Our supportive oncology and rehabilitative services program is designed to help patients navigate the physical and emotional challenges that often accompany a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
