Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist
Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is looking for a full-time maternal fetal medicine specialist who is either board certified or board eligible. This role will support our outpatient faculty practices as well as the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. The successful candidate will be appointed as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clinical care in an outpatient environment, which includes antepartum visits, preventive gynecologic care, and performing various office procedures.
- Participate in an in-house labor and delivery call coverage pool for maternal fetal medicine patients at the hospital.
- Conduct clinical assessments by interpreting ultrasound scans and overseeing the antepartum testing unit.
- Provide care for both antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
- Educate and supervise medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
- Engage in continuing medical education and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.
The salary for this position is competitive and based on qualifications and experience, with a range starting at $390,000 for the Assistant Professor level. This package includes excellent benefits, relocation assistance, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications- A medical degree is required.
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Completion of a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship in maternal fetal medicine.
- Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine.
- A valid New York State Medical License is required or must be obtainable.
- A strong commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching is essential.
