Pay Rate: Up to $24.00/hour
LHH is partnering with a growing company near Rocky River, Ohio to hire an Accounts Receivable / Collections Representative. Key Responsibilities
- Manage collection efforts on past-due customer accounts
- Contact customers by phone and email regarding outstanding balances
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications
- Review customer accounts and recommend appropriate credit actions
- Process payments and update account information in the system
- Collaborate with accounting and customer service teams to resolve account concerns
- Assist with accounts receivable reporting and related administrative duties
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to improve cash flow
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing, credit, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism while handling delinquent accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus
