What You'll Do
  • Process payroll for hourly, salaried, and multi-state employees
  • Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on schedule
  • Review and audit payroll data, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, commissions, and benefits deductions
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Reconcile payroll reports, tax filings, and general ledger accounts
  • Support payroll-related audits and year-end activities including W-2 processing
  • Partner with HR, Accounting, and Benefits teams to ensure accurate employee data
  • Assist with payroll process improvements, system upgrades, and automation initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience handling multi-state payroll preferred
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and wage compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Paycom, Workday, Ceridian, Paylocity, or similar platforms
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus
  • Experience supporting large employee populations
  • Exposure to payroll implementations or system conversions
  • Accounting or finance background preferred
  • Experience with reconciliations and reporting

Pay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
