- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in line with HHS standards to ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality patient care.
- Must exhibit the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care for patients in the assigned unit.
- Demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, with the ability to assess data reflecting the patient's condition and interpret the information required to meet each patient’s age-specific needs.
- Plan and provide patient care, including the development, modification, and execution of care plans in accordance with HHS standards to ensure quality patient care as outlined in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
- Expected to comply with the regulations established by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of a state-approved Registered Nurse Program.
- Possession of a valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Oklahoma.
BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hire or transfer into the position and prior to delivering direct patient care.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Certification in the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
