Associate Attorney

Our client is seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation matters from initial investigation through case resolution.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.

• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.

• Collaborate with clients and legal team to develop effective case strategies.

• Conduct legal research and maintain compliance with case deadlines and court requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.

• Active license to practice law in South Carolina.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
