LHH is partnering with one of our top clients on this fully remote Staff Accountant position. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting. They should also have an understanding of allocations in a cost or fund accounting environment. Candidates with NetSuite or Oracle experience and in EST/CST time zones will be prioritized.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries in NetSuite
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and financial reporting
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience with cost accounting, fund accounting or non-profit accounting required
  • Experience working with NetSuite and/or Oracle ERP system
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $75-80K.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
