Position: Travel ICU Charge Nurse
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Department: Intensive Care Unit
Available Shifts: Days and Nights
Compensation: Gross pay ranging from $1,491 to $2,067 per week, which translates to an hourly rate of $41.44 to $57.43.
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

- Oversee ICU operations and nursing personnel during assigned shifts.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments effectively.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the development of nursing staff.
- Assist with performance management and HR-related tasks.
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and overall unit readiness.
- Coordinate patient care, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the proper channels.
- Engage with patients and families to foster a positive experience.
- Provide direct patient care as necessary to ensure safe staffing and quality outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and high-quality patient care.
- Must possess a current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained.
- Current ACLS certification (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or emergency department is required.
- Previous supervisory experience of one to two years in an acute care hospital or ICU setting is essential.
